                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ROOM IN THE INN AS
                   A RECIPIENT OF EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT FUNDS
                   FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
                   DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHTEEN
                   THOUSAND SEVENTY-FIVE AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($18,075.00) FOR OPERATING COSTS AND
                   ESSENTIAL SERVICES IN THE SHELTER LOCATED AT
                   701 EAST FOURTH STREET.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute an Agreement with Room In The Inn as a recipient of
       Emergency Shelter Grant Funds from the Department of Housing and
       Urban Development in the amount of $18,075.00 for operating costs 

       and essential services in the shelter located at 701 East 4th
       Street.
